Classification of explosive atmospheres

Zone 20 (dust): An environment in which the explosive mixture is continuously or for a long time.
Zone 21 (dust): An environment in which an explosive mixture is likely to occur during normal operation of the installation.
Zone 22 (dust): An environment where there is no possibility of an explosive situation during or after normal operation. In this case, only an explosive mixture may be formed at the time of the accident.
